At Melting Pot Dispensary, we talk a lot about supporting our community, supporting local businesses, and staying informed about what's happening in Texas.

With another election coming up, there's another important way to make your voice heard: vote.

It doesn't matter which political party you support or which candidates you choose. Those decisions belong to you.

What matters is being informed, getting registered, and participating.

The 2026 Texas General Election

Election Day in Texas is:

Tuesday, November 3, 2026

But there's an important deadline coming up much sooner.

If you're not already registered to vote, the deadline to register for this election is:

Monday, October 5, 2026

To register in Texas, you generally must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of the Texas county where you register, and at least 18 years old by Election Day.

Voting

Already registered? It's still a good idea to check your registration status, especially if you've recently moved or changed your information.

You Don't Have to Wait Until Election Day

Texas also offers early voting.

Early Voting: October 19–30, 2026 Election Day: November 3, 2026

Early voting can make participating easier if work, family, school, or other responsibilities make Election Day difficult.

You can check your registration status, learn how to register, find voting information, and eventually locate your polling place through the official Texas voter website at VoteTexas.gov.

Why We're Sharing This

Over the last several years, we've seen firsthand how decisions made at the local and state level can affect small businesses, employees, customers, and entire industries.

We've also learned how important it is to stay educated and involved.

Voting isn't about everyone agreeing.

It's about having the opportunity to make your own decision and have your voice counted.

Whether the issues you care about involve small businesses, hemp, education, taxes, public safety, healthcare, or something completely different, take some time to learn about what's on your ballot and decide what matters to you.

Make Your Voice Heard

If you're already registered, encourage your friends and family to check their registration too.

If you're not registered, don't wait until Election Day.

Registration Deadline: October 5Early Voting: October 19–30Election Day: November 3

Do your research. Make your own decisions. And most importantly, participate.

Your community. Your voice. Your vote.
